Copper Futures Rise on Spot Demand

Copper futures climb to Rs 1,325/kg on MCX due to increased spot demand and higher participation. February contracts see growth.
New Delhi, Jan 12 (PTI) Copper futures rose by Rs 26.35 to Rs 1,325 per kg on Monday due to higher spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for February delivery grew marginally by Rs 26.35, or 2.03 per cent, to Rs 1,325 per kilogram in a business turnover of 5,970 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to higher bets by participants.
