Copper Futures Rise on Spot Demand

Copper futures climbed to Rs 1,191.95/kg on MCX due to increased spot demand and higher participation. March contracts saw a 1.3% gain.
New Delhi, Feb 18 (PTI) Copper futures rose by Rs 15.35 to Rs 1,191.95 per kg on Wednesday due to higher spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for March delivery grew by Rs 15.35, or 1.3 per cent, to Rs 1,191.95 per kilogram in a business turnover of 1,465 lots.


Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to higher bets by participants. PTI DR DR ANU
