Copper Futures Rise on Spot Demand

New Delhi, Mar 6 (PTI) Copper futures rose by Rs 2.40 to Rs 1,218 per kg on Friday due to higher spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for April delivery grew by Rs 2.40, or 0.2 per cent, to Rs 1,218 per kilogram in a business turnover of 111 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to higher bets by participants.
