New Delhi, Mar 10 (PTI) Copper futures rose by Rs 7.45 to Rs 1,222.30 per kg on Tuesday due to higher spot demand.


On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for April delivery grew by Rs 7.45, or 0.61 per cent, to Rs 1,222.30 per kilogram in a business turnover of 281 lots.

Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to higher bets by participants.
