New Delhi, Mar 11 (PTI) Copper futures rose by Rs 1.45 to Rs 1,227.85 per kg on Wednesday due to higher spot demand.


On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for April delivery grew by Rs 1.45, or 0.12 per cent, to Rs 1,227.85 per kilogram in a business turnover of 293 lots.

Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to higher bets by participants.
