Copper Futures Rise on Spot Demand

Copper futures climbed to Rs 1,212.45/kg on MCX due to increased spot demand and positive market sentiment. May contracts saw a 0.56% gain.

New Delhi, Apr 10 (PTI) Copper futures rose by Rs 6.70 to Rs 1,212.45 per kg on Friday on higher spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for May delivery grew by Rs 6.70, or 0.56 per cent, to Rs 1,212.45 per kilogram in a business turnover of 548 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to higher bets by participants.
