New Delhi, Apr 13 (PTI) Copper futures rose by Rs 1.65 to Rs 1,228 per kg on Monday due to higher spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for May delivery grew by Rs 1.65, or 0.13 per cent, to Rs 1,228 per kilogram in a business turnover of 574 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to higher bets by participants.
