Copper Futures Rise on Spot Demand

Copper futures climbed to Rs 1,334.45/kg on MCX due to increased spot demand. June contracts saw a 0.72% rise. Analyst attributed it to higher bets.
New Delhi, May 11 (PTI) Copper futures rose by Rs 9.50 to Rs 1,334.45 per kg on Monday due to higher spot demand.


On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for June delivery grew by Rs 9.50, or 0.72 per cent, to Rs 1,334.45 per kilogram in a business turnover of 2,835 lots.

Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to higher bets by participants.
