Copper Futures Slip on Muted Demand

New Delhi, Apr 2 (PTI) Copper prices fell Rs 16.90 to Rs 1,168.20 per kilogram in the futures trade on Thursday, weighed down by muted demand in the domestic spot market.


On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), copper for May delivery slipped Rs 16.90, or 1.43 per cent, to Rs 1,168.20 per kg in a business turnover of 2,124 lots.

Traders said subdued domestic demand from consuming industries weighed on copper prices in futures trade.
