Copper Futures Slip on Muted Demand

Copper futures fell on muted domestic demand. MCX copper for June delivery slipped Rs 4.55 to Rs 1,364.05 per kg.
New Delhi, May 21 (PTI) Copper prices fell marginally by Rs 4.55 to Rs 1,364.05 per kilogram in the futures trade on Thursday, amid muted demand in the domestic spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), copper for June delivery slipped Rs 4.55, or 0.33 per cent, to Rs 1,364.05 per kg in a business turnover 486 lots.
Traders said subdued domestic demand from consuming industries weighed on copper prices in futures trade.
