Copper Futures Slip on Subdued Demand

Copper prices fell in futures trade due to muted domestic demand. MCX copper for April delivery slipped Rs 1.30 to Rs 1,221.80 per kg.

New Delhi, Mar 12 (PTI) Copper prices fell Rs 1.30 to Rs 1,221.80 per kilogram in the futures trade on Thursday, weighed down by muted demand in the domestic spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), copper for April delivery slipped Rs 1.30, or 0.11 per cent, to Rs 1,221.80 per kg in a business turnover of 203 lots.
Traders said subdued domestic demand from consuming industries weighed on copper prices in futures trade.
