Copper Futures Surge on Higher Spot Demand
Copper futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange climbed 0.44% to Rs 821 per kg due to increased spot demand and bullish bets by traders.
New Delhi, Jan 7 (PTI) Copper futures on Tuesday rose 0.44 per cent to Rs 821 per kilogram on the back of higher spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for February delivery climbed Rs 3.60 or 0.44 per cent to Rs 821 per kg in a business turnover of 1,287 lots.
Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to the raising of bets by participants.
