Copper Prices Fall on Muted Domestic Demand

New Delhi, Mar 9 (PTI) Copper prices fell Rs 8.95 to Rs 1,208.75 per kilogram in the futures trade on Monday, weighed down by muted demand in the domestic spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), copper for April delivery slipped Rs 8.95, or 0.73 per cent, to Rs 1,208.75 per kg in a business turnover of 422 lots.
Traders said subdued domestic demand from consuming industries weighed on copper prices in futures trade.
