New Delhi, Mar 5 (PTI) Copper prices fell Rs 6.25 to Rs 1,224 per kilogram in the futures trade on Thursday, weighed down by muted demand in the domestic spot market.


On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), copper for April delivery slipped Rs 6.25, or 0.51 per cent, to Rs 1,224 per kg in a business turnover of 208 lots.

Traders said subdued domestic demand from consuming industries weighed on copper prices in futures trade.
