Copper Prices Slip on Subdued Demand

New Delhi, Mar 16 (PTI) Copper prices fell Rs 7.50 to Rs 1,201 per kilogram in the futures trade on Monday, weighed down by muted demand in the domestic spot market.


On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), copper for April delivery slipped Rs 7.50, or 0.62 per cent, to Rs 1,201 per kg in a business turnover of 410 lots.

Traders said subdued domestic demand from consuming industries weighed on copper prices in futures trade.
