Coriander Futures Climb on Strong Spot Demand

Coriander futures prices surged on Thursday, driven by robust spot market demand and limited supplies. August contracts rose on NCDEX.
New Delhi, Jul 16 (PTI) Coriander prices on Thursday rose by Rs 268 to Rs 15,672 per quintal in futures trade, driven by increased demand in the spot market.


On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, coriander contracts for August delivery increased by Rs 268, or 1.74 per cent, to Rs 15,672 per quintal in 23,555 lots.

Market analysts said coriander prices were supported by increased demand in the spot market and restricted supplies from producing regions.
