Coriander Futures Decline on Weak Spot Demand

Coriander futures fell by Rs 190 to Rs 14,822/quintal on NCDEX due to weak spot demand and profit-booking. August contracts dropped 1.27%.

New Delhi, Jun 23 (PTI) Coriander prices on Tuesday fell marginally by Rs 190 to Rs 14,822 per quintal in futures trade as participants trimmed positions amid weak demand in the physical market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, coriander contracts for August delivery dropped by Rs 190, or 1.27 per cent, to Rs 14,822 per quintal with an open interest of 25,615 lots.
Market analysts said subdued spot demand and profit-booking by speculators weighed on coriander futures prices.
