Coriander Futures Fall on Weak Spot Demand

Coriander futures dropped by Rs 96 to Rs 14,960 per quintal on NCDEX due to weak spot demand and profit-booking by speculators. August contracts declined 0.64%.
New Delhi, Jul 28 (PTI) Coriander prices on Tuesday fell by Rs 96 to Rs 14,960 per quintal in futures trade as participants trimmed positions amid weak demand in the spot market.


On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, coriander contracts for August delivery dropped by Rs 96, or 0.64 per cent, to Rs 14,960 per quintal with an open interest of 20,050 lots.

Market analysts said subdued spot demand and profit-booking by speculators weighed on coriander futures prices.
