Coriander Futures Rise: Demand Boosts Prices

Coriander futures jump on increased demand. April contracts climb Rs 264 to Rs 11,540/quintal. Spot market firm, supplies restricted.
New Delhi, Jan 30 (PTI) Coriander prices on Friday rose by Rs 264 to Rs 11,540 per quintal in futures trade as speculators increased their holdings, tracking a firm trend in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, coriander contracts for April delivery climbed Rs 264, or 2.29 per cent, to Rs 11,540 per quintal in 14,210 lots.
A firm trend in the spot market and restricted supplies from producing regions pushed up coriander prices, market analysts said. PTI DR DR ANU
