Coriander Futures Rise: Demand Boosts Prices

Coriander futures climb on increased demand. April contracts up Rs 14 to Rs 10,550/quintal. Spot market strength & supply constraints cited.
New Delhi, Feb 17 (PTI) Coriander prices on Tuesday rose by Rs 14 to Rs 10,550 per quintal in futures trade as speculators increased their holdings, tracking a firm trend in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, coriander contracts for April delivery appreciated Rs 14, or 0.13 per cent, to Rs 10,550 per quintal in 15,480 lots. It had closed at Rs 10,536 per quintal.
A firm trend in the spot market and restricted supplies from producing regions pushed up coriander prices, market analysts said. PTI HG HG ANU
