Coriander Futures Rise: Demand Boosts Prices

Coriander futures climb on increased demand. May contracts rise to Rs 12,794/quintal on NCDEX. Spot market trend supports price increase.

New Delhi, Apr 16 (PTI) Coriander prices on Thursday increased by Rs 10 to Rs 12,794 per quintal in futures trade as speculators increased their holdings, tracking a firm trend in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, coriander contracts for May delivery climbed Rs 10, or 0.08 per cent, to Rs 12,794 per quintal in 23,205 lots.
A firm trend in the spot market and restricted supplies from producing regions pushed up coriander prices, market analysts said.
