Coriander futures jump on increased demand. June contracts climb to Rs 12,478/quintal. Spot market strength & supply constraints cited.
New Delhi, May 13 (PTI) Coriander prices on Wednesday increased by Rs 78 to Rs 12,478 per quintal in futures trade as speculators increased their holdings, tracking a firm trend in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, coriander contracts for June delivery climbed Rs 78, or 0.63 per cent, to Rs 12,478 per quintal in 22,630 lots.
A firm trend in the spot market and restricted supplies from producing regions pushed up coriander prices, market analysts said.
