Cottonseed Oil Cake Futures Decline on Weak Demand
Cottonseed oil cake futures declined on Thursday due to weak demand in the spot market. Participants reduced their bets, leading to a price drop of Rs 19 per quintal.
New Delhi, Jan 23 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Thursday declined Rs 19 to Rs 2,799 per quintal in futures trade as participants reduced their bets following weak trends in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for February delivery traded lower Rs 19 or 0.68 per cent at Rs 2,799 per quintal with an open interest of 18,670 lots.
Analysts said a sell-off by participants at existing levels amid a subdued trend in the market mainly weighed on cottonseed oil cake prices.
