Cottonseed oil cake futures climb on fresh positions amid higher demand. September delivery up Rs 8 at Rs 3,466/quintal.
New Delhi, Aug 25 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Monday rose Rs 8 to Rs 3,466 per quintal in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions amid higher demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for September delivery traded higher by Rs 8 or 0.23 per cent at Rs 3,466 per quintal with an open interest of 35,180 lots.
Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants amid increasing demand for cattle feed mainly influenced cottonseed oil cake prices.
