Cottonseed oil cake futures increase on fresh bets. March delivery rises to Rs 3,215/quintal on NCDEX amid higher demand.
New Delhi, Feb 17 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Tuesday increased by Rs 6 to Rs 3,215 per quintal in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions amid higher demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for March delivery traded higher by Rs 6, or 0.19 per cent, at Rs 3,215 per quintal with an open interest of 55,850 lots. It had closed at Rs 3,209 per quintal in the previous session.
Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants amid increasing demand for cattle feed mainly influenced cottonseed oil cake prices. PTI HG HG ANU
