Cottonseed oil cake futures jump Rs 42 to Rs 3,257/quintal on fresh positions amid higher demand. March delivery sees increased open interest.
New Delhi, Feb 18 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Wednesday increased by Rs 42 to Rs 3,257 per quintal in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions amid higher demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for March delivery traded higher by Rs 42, or 1.31 per cent, at Rs 3,257 per quintal with an open interest of 58,460 lots.
Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants amid increasing demand for cattle feed mainly influenced cottonseed oil cake prices. PTI DR DR ANU
