Cottonseed oil cake futures rise on fresh bets. March delivery up Rs 12 at Rs 3,270/quintal on NCDEX. Demand for cattle feed increases.
New Delhi, Feb 19 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Thursday increased by Rs 12 to Rs 3,270 per quintal in futures trade, as speculators created fresh positions amid higher demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for March delivery traded higher by Rs 12, or 0.37 per cent, at Rs 3,270 per quintal with an open interest of 59,690 lots.
Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants amid increasing demand for cattle feed mainly influenced cottonseed oil cake prices. PTI DR DR BAL
