Cottonseed oil cake futures up on fresh bets. April delivery rises to Rs 3,445/quintal on strong demand for cattle feed.
New Delhi, Mar 9 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Monday increased Rs 64 to Rs 3,445 per quintal in futures trade, as speculators created fresh positions amid higher demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for April delivery traded higher by Rs 64, or 1.89 per cent, at Rs 3,445 per quintal with an open interest of 27,880 lots.
Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants amid increasing demand for cattle feed mainly influenced cottonseed oil cake prices.
