Cottonseed Oil Cake Futures Rise: Fresh Bets

Cottonseed oil cake futures prices increase due to fresh positions created by speculators amid higher demand for cattle feed.
New Delhi, Mar 11 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Wednesday increased Rs 9 to Rs 3,444 per quintal in futures trade, as speculators created fresh positions amid higher demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for April delivery traded higher by Rs 9, or 0.26 per cent, at Rs 3,444 per quintal with an open interest of 41,860 lots.
Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants amid increasing demand for cattle feed mainly influenced cottonseed oil cake prices.
