Cottonseed oil cake futures jump on fresh bets. April delivery up Rs 66 to Rs 3,430/quintal on NCDEX. Demand for cattle feed rises.
New Delhi, Mar 12 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Thursday increased Rs 66 to Rs 3,430 per quintal in futures trade, as speculators created fresh positions amid higher demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for April delivery traded higher by Rs 66, or 1.92 per cent, at Rs 3,430 per quintal with an open interest of 46,470 lots.
Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants amid increasing demand for cattle feed mainly influenced cottonseed oil cake prices.
