Cottonseed Oil Cake Futures Rise on Demand
Cottonseed oil cake futures rose on Wednesday due to increased demand for cattle feed. Speculators created fresh positions, pushing prices up to Rs 2,662 per quintal.
New Delhi, Dec 4 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Wednesday rose Rs 10 to Rs 2,662 per quintal in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions amid a higher demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for December delivery traded higher by Rs 10 or 0.38 per cent at Rs 2,662 per quintal with an open interest of 16,890 lots.
Marketmen said the raising of positions by participants amid increasing demand for cattle feed mainly influenced cottonseed oil cake prices.
