Cottonseed Oil Cake Futures Rise on Demand

Cottonseed oil cake prices surged on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange due to increased demand for cattle feed, leading to higher futures trading.
New Delhi, Dec 14 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Thursday rose Rs 2 to Rs 2,941 per quintal in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions amid a higher demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for December delivery traded higher by Rs 2 or 0.07 per cent at Rs 2,941 per quintal with an open interest of 18,260 lots.
Marketmen said the raising of positions by participants amid increasing demand for cattle feed mainly influenced cottonseed oil cake prices.
