Cottonseed oil cake futures jump on fresh positions amid higher demand. September delivery up Rs 19 at Rs 3,364/quintal.

New Delhi, Aug 5 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Tuesday rose Rs 19 to Rs 3,364 per quintal in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions amid higher demand.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for September delivery traded higher Rs 19 or 0.56 per cent at Rs 3,364 per quintal with an open interest of 17,820 lots.

Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants amid increasing demand for cattle feed mainly influenced cottonseed oil cake prices.
