Cottonseed Oil Cake Futures Rise on Higher Demand

Cottonseed oil cake futures prices rose on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange on Thursday due to increasing demand for cattle feed. Speculators created fresh positions, driving prices up by Rs 7 to Rs 2,930 per quintal.
New Delhi, Oct 31 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Thursday rose Rs 7 to Rs 2,930 per quintal in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions amid a higher demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for December delivery traded higher by Rs 7 or 0.24 per cent at Rs 2,930 per quintal with an open interest of 19,820 lots.
Marketmen said the raising of positions by participants amid increasing demand for cattle feed mainly influenced cottonseed oil cake prices.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for December delivery traded higher by Rs 7 or 0.24 per cent at Rs 2,930 per quintal with an open interest of 19,820 lots.
