Cottonseed Oil Cake Futures Rise on Higher Demand

Cottonseed oil cake futures prices increased by Rs 18 to Rs 3,129 per quintal due to rising demand and speculative trading on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange.
New Delhi, Jun 4 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Wednesday rose Rs 18 to Rs 3,129 per quintal in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions amid higher demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for July delivery traded higher by Rs 18 or 0.58 per cent at Rs 3,129 per quintal with an open interest of 40,600 lots.
Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants amid increasing demand for cattle feed mainly influenced cottonseed oil cake prices.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for July delivery traded higher by Rs 18 or 0.58 per cent at Rs 3,129 per quintal with an open interest of 40,600 lots.
