Cottonseed Oil Cake Futures Rise on Higher Demand

Cottonseed oil cake futures prices increased by Rs 5 to Rs 3,176 per quintal on June 24th, driven by increased demand and speculative trading.
New Delhi, Jun 24 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Tuesday rose Rs 5 to Rs 3,176 per quintal in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions amid higher demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for July delivery traded higher by Rs 5 or 0.16 per cent at Rs 3,176 per quintal with an open interest of 83,920 lots.
Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants amid increasing demand for cattle feed mainly influenced cottonseed oil cake prices.
