Cottonseed Oil Cake Futures Rise on Higher Demand

Cottonseed oil cake futures prices increased by Rs 17 to Rs 3,201 per quintal due to increased demand and speculative trading on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange.
New Delhi, Jul 8 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Tuesday rose Rs 17 to Rs 3,201 per quintal in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions amid higher demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for August delivery traded higher Rs 17 or 0.53 per cent at Rs 3,201 per quintal with an open interest of 68,550 lots.
Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants amid increasing demand for cattle feed mainly influenced cottonseed oil cake prices.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for August delivery traded higher Rs 17 or 0.53 per cent at Rs 3,201 per quintal with an open interest of 68,550 lots.
