Cottonseed Oil Cake Futures Rise on Higher Demand

Cottonseed oil cake futures prices increased by Rs 43 to Rs 3,189 per quintal on rising demand and speculative trading activity.

New Delhi, Jul 31 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Thursday rose Rs 43 to Rs 3,189 per quintal in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions amid higher demand.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for August delivery traded higher Rs 43 or 1.35 per cent at Rs 3,189 per quintal with an open interest of 66,300 lots.

Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants amid increasing demand for cattle feed mainly influenced cottonseed oil cake prices.
