Cottonseed oil cake futures prices rise on fresh bets amid higher demand. April delivery trades higher. Marketmen cite increasing demand.
New Delhi, Mar 6 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Friday increased Rs 10 to Rs 3,362 per quintal in futures trade, as speculators created fresh positions amid higher demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for April delivery traded higher by Rs 10, or 0.30 per cent, at Rs 3,362 per quintal with an open interest of 21,800 lots.
Marketmen said the widening of positions by participants amid increasing demand for cattle feed mainly influenced cottonseed oil cake prices.
