Cottonseed oil cake futures fall on weak demand. March delivery down Rs 70 to Rs 3,392/quintal. Analysts cite sell-off amid subdued market trend.
New Delhi, Feb 6 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Friday fell by Rs 70 to Rs 3,392 per quintal in futures trade as participants reduced their bets, following weak trends in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for March delivery traded lower by Rs 70, or 2.02 per cent, to Rs 3,392 per quintal with an open interest of 38,650 lots.
Analysts said a sell-off by participants at existing levels amid a subdued market trend weighed on cottonseed oil cake prices. PTI DR DR BAL
