Cottonseed oil cake futures fall on weak demand. May delivery down Rs 16 to Rs 3,490/quintal. Analysts cite subdued market trend.

New Delhi, Apr 13 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Monday fell Rs 16 to Rs 3,490 per quintal in futures trade as participants reduced their bets, following weak trends in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for May delivery traded lower by Rs 16, or 0.46 per cent, to Rs 3,490 per quintal with an open interest of 44,570 lots.
Analysts said a sell-off by participants at existing levels amid a subdued market trend weighed on cottonseed oil cake prices.
