Cottonseed Oil Cake Futures Slip: Demand Softens

Cottonseed oil cake futures fall on weak demand. May delivery dips on NCDEX. Analysts cite subdued market trends.
New Delhi, May 15 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Friday fell by Rs 3 to Rs 3,551 per quintal in futures trade as participants reduced their bets, following weak trends in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for May delivery traded lower by Rs 3, or 0.08 per cent, to Rs 3,551 per quintal with an open interest of 52,140 lots.
Analysts said a sell-off by participants at existing levels amid a subdued market trend weighed on cottonseed oil cake prices.
