Cottonseed Oil Cake Futures Surge on Demand
Cottonseed oil cake futures rose on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange due to increased demand and speculative trading. Prices gained Rs 24 to Rs 2,668 per quintal.
New Delhi, Mar 11 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Tuesday rose Rs 24 to Rs 2,668 per quintal in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions amid higher demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for April delivery traded higher by Rs 24 or 0.90 per cent at Rs 2,668 per quintal with an open interest of 54,990 lots.
Marketmen said the raising of positions by participants amid increasing demand for cattle feed mainly influenced cottonseed oil cake prices.
