Cottonseed Oil Cake Prices Fall on Weak Demand

Cottonseed oil cake futures slip on soft demand. Prices fell by Rs 7 to Rs 3,451 per quintal due to weak spot market trends.
New Delhi, Feb 5 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Thursday fell by Rs 7 to Rs 3,451 per quintal in futures trade as participants reduced their bets following weak trends in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for March delivery traded lower by Rs 7, or 0.20 per cent, to Rs 3,451 per quintal with an open interest of 37,250 lots.
Analysts said a sell-off by participants at existing levels amid a subdued trend in the market mainly weighed on cottonseed oil cake prices.
