Cottonseed Oil Cake Prices Fall on Weak Demand

Cottonseed oil cake futures slip in futures trade due to soft demand and sell-off by participants. April delivery prices decline.
New Delhi, Mar 16 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Monday fell by Rs 12 to Rs 3,453 per quintal in futures trade as participants reduced their bets, following weak trends in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for April delivery traded lower by Rs 12, or 0.35 per cent, to Rs 3,453 per quintal with an open interest of 52,310 lots.
Analysts said a sell-off by participants at existing levels amid a subdued market trend weighed on cottonseed oil cake prices.
