Cottonseed Oil Futures Decline on Soft Demand - PTI
Cottonseed oil cake prices fell Rs 10 to Rs 2,705 per quintal on Friday due to weak spot market trends and reduced bets by participants.
New Delhi, Jan 31 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Friday declined Rs 10 to Rs 2,705 per quintal in futures trade as participants reduced their bets following weak trends in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for February delivery traded lower Rs 10 or 0.37 per cent at Rs 2,705 per quintal with an open interest of 44,710 lots.
Analysts said a sell-off by participants at existing levels amid a subdued trend in the market mainly weighed on cottonseed oil cake prices.
