Cottonseed Oil Futures Decline on Soft Demand - PTI
Cottonseed oil cake futures fell on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange due to weak trends in the spot market and sell-off by participants.
New Delhi, Mar 10 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Monday fell Rs 16 to Rs 2,679 per quintal in futures trade as participants reduced their bets following weak trends in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for April delivery traded lower Rs 16 or 0.60 per cent at Rs 2,679 per quintal with an open interest of 44,680 lots.
Analysts said a sell-off by participants at existing levels amid a subdued trend in the market mainly weighed on cottonseed oil cake prices.
