Cottonseed Oil Futures Slip: Demand Softens

Cottonseed oil cake futures fall on weak demand. March delivery dips on NCDEX. Analysts cite subdued market trends.
New Delhi, Feb 13 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Friday marginally fell to Rs 3,277 per quintal in futures trade as participants reduced their bets, following weak trends in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for March delivery traded lower by Re 1, or 0.03 per cent, to Rs 3,277 per quintal with an open interest of 55,860 lots.
Analysts said a sell-off by participants at existing levels amid a subdued market trend weighed on cottonseed oil cake prices.
