Cottonseed Oil Futures Slip: Demand Softens

Cottonseed oil cake futures fall on weak demand. April delivery down Rs 11 to Rs 3,480/quintal. Analysts cite subdued market trend.
New Delhi, Mar 13 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Friday fell Rs 11 to Rs 3,480 per quintal in futures trade as participants reduced their bets, following weak trends in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for April delivery traded lower by Rs 11, or 0.31 per cent, to Rs 3,480 per quintal with an open interest of 48,640 lots.
Analysts said a sell-off by participants at existing levels amid a subdued market trend weighed on cottonseed oil cake prices.
