Cottonseed Oil Futures Slip: Demand Weak

Cottonseed oil cake futures fall on soft demand. Prices slip to Rs 3,459/quintal. Weak spot market trends weigh on prices.
New Delhi, Feb 1 (PTI) Cottonseed oil cake prices on Sunday fell by Rs 53 to Rs 3,459 per quintal in futures trade as participants reduced their bets following weak trends in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, cottonseed oil cake for February delivery traded lower by Rs 53, or 1.53 per cent, to Rs 3,459 per quintal with an open interest of 44,470 lots.
Analysts said a sell-off by participants at existing levels amid a subdued trend in the market mainly weighed on cottonseed oil cake prices.
